Save the date for the Somerville Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26, in downtown Somerville! The parade will start at 8:15 am and last for approximately 1 hour.
Parade vehicles
Do you have a military-style vehicle you’d like to showcase in the parade? Can you drive a disabled veteran in your convertible car? Register now to be a part of this community event!
Parade route
The parade will start at 8:15 am.
- Start at Culver Street and East High Street (World War I monument)
- Travel westbound from High Street to N. Doughty Avenue
- Make a brief stop at the Fire Museum
- Stop at West Main Street to place a wreath at the memorial
- Travel eastbound down W. Main Street to S. Bridge Street. (At this point, Family Fun Ride participants are welcome to join the parade.)
- Travel from S. Bridge Street to the Somerville New Cemetery (192 S. Bridge St)
