December 20: NJ American Water is aware of taste and odor issues and will continue flushing the water system. We are anticipating 1 to 2 inches of snow tonight into Saturday morning. Black ice is possible. Residents have 12 daylight hours to clear snow from sidewalks once the precipitation has ended.

Winter basketball league

This entry-level basketball program is for youth in grades 3 to 8. Teams will play intertown, competitive games with recreation departments from surrounding towns. Local travel is required.

About

  • Teams are formed according to gender and grade levels (3 to 4, 5 to 6, and 7 to 8)
  • First come, first served
  • Players will be waitlisted if a team is full or without a coach

Practices

  • Practices will begin in December
  • Teams will practice 1 night per week for 1 hour

Games

  • Games will be held on Friday evenings or during the day on Saturday
  • Coaches will contact players when the schedules are completed in December

2025 schedule

  • Dates: Season runs from January 10 to March 1
  • Time: Schedule to be confirmed
  • Location: Practices will be held at the Middle School or Van Derveer Elementary School. Local travel is required for games.
