December 20: NJ American Water is aware of taste and odor issues and will continue flushing the water system. We are anticipating 1 to 2 inches of snow tonight into Saturday morning. Black ice is possible. Residents have 12 daylight hours to clear snow from sidewalks once the precipitation has ended.

Report recycling tonnage

Businesses and institutions, including multifamily housing owners, need to report the weight of recycling materials collected on their premises every year.

Need to know

  • Deadline is March 1
  • This is required by law

Before you start

You need to report the tonnage for the previous calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.

If you don't know the tonnage, you can use other units of measurement. If you do, make sure to include the unit type.

If your recycling hauler reports this on your behalf, write "RBH" in the Tons column to indicated it's reported by the hauler. Include their name in the Company providing recycling services column.

The form includes more instructions and definitions for each material category.

Steps

  1. Download and complete the recycling tonnage reporting form.
  2. Submit it by email or fax:

What's next
