How do I get a copy of a police report?

Allow 5 working days for any police report to be ready. Call the Records Bureau at (908) 725-0331 prior to picking up a report at Police Headquarters or access a report online for a fee.

How do I get a copy of a birth certificate?

Complete the online VitalChek application to request a copy of a birth certificate online. Online requests have additional service and shipping fees. To request a certified copy of a birth certificate from Borough Hall, submit this application and call (908) 725-2300, ext. 1980 to schedule an appointment. How do I get a marriage license?

How do I pay my property taxes?

Pay your property taxes online using the block/lot as the identifier. A convenience fee will be applied for online payments. You may pay with cash (exact change) or check at the Tax Office in Borough Hall, Monday to Friday, until 3 pm. Learn more about how to pay your property tax bill.

How do I pay my water bill?

Pay your New Jersey American Water bill online or call customer service at 1-800-272-1325, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm.      

How do I report food safety concerns?

The Somerset County Department of Health provides our health services. They are responsible for health inspections, complaints, enforcement and public health education. To report a food safety concern, email HealthDept@co.somerset.nj.us or call (908) 231-7155.
