PSE&G and contractor crews are working in Somerville to replace gas mains and services.

- E. Cliff St (between Culver St and N. Gaston Ave): Installing main and connecting services
- Culver St (between E High St and E Cliff St): Installing main and connecting services
Note: PSE&G picked up steel plates on Maple St on December 15. Trench repairs will be completed after the new year.
About this project
This work is Phase 1 of a 10-12 month gas construction project. All crews will first finish installing new mains and then proceed to connect service lines.
Expect an increase in traffic, loud noise, and presence of heavy equipment and machinery in these areas. All work is pending weather and availability of materials.
Garbage collection
Plan for an earlier pickup while roads are under construction. Please put trash out the night before collection.
