The Borough is planning to build an Emergency Services Facility, which will include the Police and Fire Departments, plus the Office of Emergency Management and EMS/Rescue Squad in one central location on Gaston Avenue.
Harvey-Cleary Builders will be the General Contractor on the new, 46,000 square foot Emergency Services Facility in Somerville with construction slated to commence in Fall 2022. Harvey-Cleary will be holding a Subcontractor Forum to engage the local subcontractor community, solicit subcontractor interest in the project, and provide bidding contact info for interested subcontractor parties across all trades. They will answer questions about the project at that time. The Forum is open for subcontracts to drop by at any time between 7am-4pm.
Harvey-Cleary expects to award “early start” packages in August/September, including Site/Utilities, Structure, MEPS, Elevators, and Exterior Envelope trades. Other trade awards will follow shortly thereafter. All trades are invited to the Subcontractor Forum. The project is scheduled for groundbreaking in October 2022.
