Bring out the entire family on Friday night, June 14 for a night of fun and music at the Flag Day Country Music Festival featuring Big Hix on the grounds of the Somerset County Courthouse in Somerville, N.J. from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Hosted by the Somerville Elks Lodge #1068 the event is FREE. Big Hix will deliver a Tailgate Droppin’ Tribute to All Your Favorite Country Artists!
Mayor Dennis Sullivan will kick off the Flag Ceremony portion of the event at 6:30 pm where the flag will be raised on the Somerville Fire Department Ladder Truck. The Flag Day Country Music Festival has something for the entire family with a display of historic fire trucks, interesting military and rescue vehicles, reenactment demonstrations, and a scavenger hunt through the exhibitors in one red, white, and blue festival with food and prizes that is the largest celebration of Flag Day in the region.
