Electronic Waste Recycling Moves to Two New Locations

for Somerset County Residents

Starting September 1, 2015, Somerset County’s Electronic Waste Program will change for residents.  Due to severe market changes, the instability with regard to the continuation of manufacturer agreements and pending law modifications there will be future changes.

When: 1st Saturday Collections for 2015– Sept. 5, Oct. 3, Nov. 7 and Dec. 5 from 8am -2pm

Weekday Collections: Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3pm

Materials accepted:

Computer (Desktops & Laptops), Monitors (Cathode-Ray Tube & Flat Panel) and Televisions (Cathode-Ray Tube & Flat Panel); Telecommunication Equipment (Telephones, Cellular Phones), Telephone Mainframes, copiers, digital cameras, DVD players, e-book readers, fax machines, Keyboards, Mice, Cables, Wiring, Circuit Boards, Modems, Power Supplies, MP3 players, personal digital assistants (PDAs), printers, scanners, stereo and radio equipment, VCRs, Audio Visual Equipment, Typewriters, Mainframe Equipment & Controllers, Camcorders.

NO Batteries will be accepted.  Household batteries may be disposed in the regular trash.  Bring Lithium and rechargeable batteries to the HHW collection events.
