Our contractor (Dell Tech) has started working on the entrance and exterior of Borough Hall, located at 25 West End Avenue.
This work will include:
- Restoration of select windows
- Rebuilding entry steps at the portico, south tower, and rear south entry
- Masonry repairs and painting various locations
- Restoration of the portico ceiling, light fixture, and doors
- Installation of new handrails and guardrails
- Removal of paint from interior brick walls at the portico
- Installation of new plaques at the roadside and interior locations

About this project
The Borough was awarded a $218,907 grant from the NJ Historic Trust in 2023 to restore the entry portico and exterior of the historic Daniel Robert House (Borough Hall). On November 4, 2024, the Borough Council authorized a $549,800 contract to Dell Tech, of Dover. Restoration work started in April 2025 and should be completed by the end of September (tentative).
