The Memorial Day Parade is back in Somerville! Salute a veteran, starting at 8:15 am, on Monday, May 27, as the parade makes its way from the corner of Culver Street and East High Street to the Fire Museum on N. Doughty Avenue, and down West Main Street to S. Bridge Street. At this point, families participating in the Family Fun Ride may join the parade as it continues down S. Bridge Street to the Somerville New Cemetery.
“In January I made a promise, and now we are returning the Somerville Memorial Day Parade to the streets of our Borough,” said Mayor Brian Gallagher. “We will proudly display true honor to those who have sacrificed for our country. Grab your flags, join friends and neighbors, and let’s all remember what Memorial Day is all about!”
