is to provide print and non-print materials to meet individual and group needs
in the community for information, recreation, education, and cultural growth.
This is accomplished by selecting materials for purchase, by organizing the
material for use by the public, and by maintaining lending procedures that make
the best possible use of the collection. The Library provides information
services to The Library’s strategy and plans for growth
aim to deliver the maximum value to patrons as well as employees.
"Value" is defined in terms of 1) quality of processes, systems, and
environment, and in 2) results achieved in relation to costs incurred. Every
effort is made to build employee loyalty and satisfaction with the
