Estimated 3^rd Quarter Tax Bills

The Borough of Somerville Tax Collection office will be sending out ESTIMATED tax bills for the third quarter 2008.  There will NOT be an extended grace period for the 3rd quarter 2008, as we had done in previous years.  The bills will be mailed from the tax office no later than June 30th and the due date will be August 1st.  As allowed by the State, the Borough will provide a 10 day grace period.  Since the 10th of August falls on Sunday, taxpayers will have to close of business on Monday August 11th to make their payment without incurring interest charges.  Payments made after August 11, 2008 will incur interest back

to August 1, 2008.
