The Somerville Human Relations Committee was
established in 1985 to foster improved relations between the Somerville Police
Department, the Borough of Somerville and the community at large.
This committee has been actively involved
with the annual observance of National Night Out Against Crime, which is held on the first Tuesday
in August and works to solve community concerns, where possible.
Current topics that the committee is
addressing include; the Citizen's
The committee meets on the last Thursday of
each month at Police Headquarters in the Council Chambers at 7:30pm. There is
no meeting in the month of December. All interested citizens are welcome to
attend these meetings.
